Hello, I’m Mikaela!

I have been a professional designer for 7 years. My background combines studio art, graphic design, and computer programming, giving me a perspective that blends creative thinking with technical problem-solving. Over the years, I’ve worked across graphic design, branding, digital marketing, web development, corporate communications, and healthcare, building a versatile skill set that lets me approach projects from more than one angle.

From developing logos and visual identities to creating marketing materials, presentations, and internal communications, I love finding ways to make ideas clear, engaging, and visually cohesive. I’m curious by nature and enjoy figuring out how things work! I love a good creative challenge. I’m just as interested in the thought behind a design as I am in the final result.

When I’m not working on a creative project, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors, taking care of my garden, or spending time with my cats, Timothy and Loki.

Whether I’m working on a project or a Friday night craft, I like bringing a little creativity and a lot of thoughtfulness to whatever I’m working on. I believe good work comes from curiosity, collaboration, and a willingness to try something different.
